1. Can I buy direct from the factory?
Yes, for customers in the United States and Canada. Just contact us and we will be happy to help you with your order. If you are outside the U. S. or Canada, please call, email or fax and we will direct you to the nearest agent or distributor.

3. What are your pressure ratings?
Many of our tools are rated at 750 PSI (52 Bar or 53 Kg/cm2. The larger tools may have reduced ratings. Please see our product catalog for complete pressure ratings.

4. Do you have different rubber materials available for your tools?
While Neoprene is our standard material, we also offer HNBR, fluorocarbon, and silicone on some sizes. Call us for complete information.

5. What are your tools made of?
Our tools are manufactured from an aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel. The aluminum parts are hard-coat anodized for long life and corrosion resistance. Our shafts and seal screws are made from stainless steel.

6. What should I do if my tool starts to leak?
Worn seals are the most likely place to start your search. It takes only seconds to make a seal change in a RAMSEAL® tool. See the maintenance video section of this website for a demonstration.

7. My 14 Series tool has small bubbles coming through the handle area when I use it in my dunk tank. What could be causing this?
Bubbles coming from around the shaft are usually indicators of worn Quad Seals on the shaft. It is best to replace both seals at the same time. Be sure to use only genuine Ramer RAMSEAL® replacement parts.

8. Can my RAMSEAL® tool be used with Helium Mass Spectrometer testing?
Yes, our tools are used extensively in all parts of the world using this process. 40 Series and 12 Series tools are the best for this application, but other tool models may also be used.

9. Can my RAMSEAL® tool be used in a water test tank?
Most certainly. Ramer tools are manufactured from corrosion resistant aluminum and stainless steel. Underwater applications will have no effect on the tools.

10. I have hot tubes that need to be tested. Do I need to order anything special?
Many Ramer applications can be used for hot or warm tubes. While this is never a perfect situation, we can fit our tools with fluorocarbon or silicon seals to lengthen seal life in these less than ideal settings. Give us a call for more information.

11. How long will it take to receive my order?
Most parts orders are shipped the same or next day. Tools are typically shipped in one to two days. Large orders may be shipped partial. Custom orders can require 4 to 6 weeks lead time. Contact us and we will happy to give you a delivery estimate.
